3/17/2023 0 Comments Medieval times scottsdaleRelive your childhood memories like I did, or make one. ![]() I hope you get to attend a Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament near you or if you visit the Phoenix Scottsdale area. It is really also very fun when they announce we can be served and all the servers come out with the chicken on platters and rush out the doors. Oh it was really delicious!! I devoured it before the corn and potatoes came out. I could have had more soup and garlic bread – and wish I could have asked for more haha! I’ve had a few friends attend and tell me how much they enjoyed the food, knowing I had attended the grand opening of this location and brought my in-laws. It really is delicious, you won’t be disappointed with the food, it’s so well seasoned and flavored. Now let’s talk about the food! You will get a tomato soup with garlic bread, and the meal is a large chicken (like a half chicken), corn on the cob and a seasoned potato wedge. It really is a wonderful and entertaining show of acting, jousting, the horses performing, tournaments, and a falcon! It’s a fun time and a thing you should do if you are visiting Phoenix or just looking for something fun to do with your family. There is also some distancing between seated parties. Masks are required for entry but when you sit, like a restaurant, you can remove it.There is no silverware – it is the Medieval Times after all – so prepare to use your fingers when it comes to the main dish, the chicken! They do give wet wipes!.Block off about 2 hours of entertainment from the time doors open.I suggest getting there at least 20 minutes early, earlier if you have kids because you’ll be taking photos and buying things. Doors open 1 hour before seating time. Some things you should know before you go Medieval Times locations include: Atlanta, Baltimore, Buena Park, Chicago, Dallas, Lyndhurst, Myrtle Beach, Orlando, Scottsdale and Toronto. I don’t even move that much so I’m glad we had this on the calendar with our activities to take them places. They were pretty excited because my parents are very active and like to get out every day. I was invited to attend and so we brought my parents who were in town for Christmas and New Years. Of course it’s a wonderful place to take your kids, but it’s entertainment for adults too, and the food is good too! I’ll share that in a bit. Here we are hubby and I green team again! What a fun coincidence, wahooo! Benjamin was trying to do a “king face” ) He’s also wearing my dad’s old jacket!
